For independent platter, it comes with 4 selections with a scoop of B&J

all i can comment on is their choices of cakes available is really really good, yummy, delicious.

Pear Temptation $10.50

The puff pastry with crispy skin is filled with pear & almond cream.
A bite of the pastry with a scoop of Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream drizzled with caramel is enough to make me melt in coldness & warmness.
Perfect combination!
Pear Temptation is baked fresh upon order therefore there is at least a minimum waiting time of 15mins, definitely worth the wait!

Molten Chocolate Cake $12.90

Edmund told me that there was this 1 girl whom insist that the best Molten Chocolate cake she tried was from Bakerzin and Edmund dared her to take up the challenge in trying CA's one and she lost.
She changed her mindset and insist now that the best Molten Chocolate cake is from CA.
Edmund then dared me do i dare to take up the challenge and i took up.
The chef then was informed of this challenge, went inside the kitchen to start the battle, took quite some time in preparation but when it was served, the dark chocolate smell was simply enough to make me melt.

CA's hot chocolate cake is made with 55% dark couverture chocolate, served with vanilla sauce and B&J vanilla ice cream accompanied with fresh strawberries & blueberries.
Sweetness of the cakes goes just right together with the ice cream.
It's definitely, no doubt marvelous but didn't quite hit the oomph-factor.

first time trying such an unique flavor - earlgrey.
the fudge, the mousse, the chocolate all sums up to a word = YUMMY!

though there is chocolate & earlygrey, both taste, uniqueness didn't cover up one another.
Best of all, it sets you refreshed after eating!

the 2nd time i visited was on a Friday and there was this band concert.

There are alfresco seats available too.

this place is really great for hangouts, chilling, get together and their desserts there will get you running back for more.
For desserts lover, this place is a MUST VISIT!

The curry potato filling is watery and very tasty.
watery in a good way, not dry, not thick compared to e ones at Old Chang Kee.

Though 1A puff is much smaller than Old Chang Kee and e price is e same AT $1.20,
the quality, the taste of the way is way much much better.
The skin of the puffs is soft and flaky therefore making the combination of filling and skin superb.
Unlike Old Chang Kee puffs, the skin is very thick and has this strong flour taste.

Much to my amazement, the porridge here serves are very cheap! For the scallop porridge, it's going at only $1.20. And they have quite a lot of choices available.
Got the egg century porridge to try, it was surprisingly good.
At only $2, they are not stingy with their ingredients. They sliced up 1 whole egg century. The porridge is soft, taste is mildly sweet, have those homely feel.

I heart the noodles from Top 1. It is smooth, slippery, not too strong of a flour taste. The price of their noodles usually goes at $2.50 and up so when i saw this going at $2, decided to get it.
Turns out to be just a normal noodle, with all the basic ingredients - pork chunks, ikan bilis, mushroom & a lot of veggies.
Still taste excellent though!

Duck Rice from a very Long Queue stall

My daddy being a typical Singaporean - "long queue, must queue, food must be good" went to queue and got back 2 plates.

Normal, disappointing. The braised duck meat flavor isn't strong enough for that kick and in my opinion, if food is served in a Styrofoam plate, it is pretty annoying. The scraping, the anytime plate might fly off as the food is finishing.
Their chili is good though. Specially made i supposed.

Black Sesame, Peanut & Almond Pasta and Gingko Barley

Cantonese style desserts are all specially grounded with mill which is rare, allow me to repeat RARE in all desserts shops.
Yes, all might claim that their desserts are authentic blah blah, traditional but their desserts ultimately are still made from machines.
Therefore the desserts served here are soft, like really soft, while sipping, you can have the picture of the mill grounding what you are drinking therefore the impossibly soft taste.

The green tea ice cream in Pasta taste different from other Japanese restaurants because theirs is imported from Japan.
the flavor is not too thick, not too light.
However for their Maccha cake, it taste heavy, thick not to my liking.

These is the bread that got them famous and I guess everyone taste is different. For me, this is the 2nd time I’m having and the quality seems to be consistent.
It is still soft and fluffy, sweet and tasty, and indeed it is a favourite for all ages as my parents heart it too and agrees that Provence do bakes remarkable bread!

After getting the wassant and the buns, it rained big and my friend and I were stuck. So we sat in the café and he ordered a latte. The Cinnamon Bun which I thought I can resist initially seems to be calling out loud for me and so I gave in.
Picked one and asked the lady at the counter to heat it up for me.
When it was served, I went crazy. The smell of the sweetness of the Cinnamon was overwhelming and the sugary glaze was melting!!!

"Provence is fully equipped with necessary baking tools for in-house made-from-scratch products so you get only the freshest bread hot off the oven."

Indeed, as they have confidently claimed and achieved, the taste of their bread all have one in common – splendidly soft!

Provence's claims for their cafe ambience "Take-out, eat-in, up to you. The moment you step into Provence, there is a real sense of feeling at ease as the aroma our wide selection of breads welcomes you. The ambience of the cafe by the patio is typically Europe, as you enjoy your tasty bread and freshly brewed coffee, what more is there to ask for?"
Seating is available inside with air-conditioned as well as alfresco with wall fans however if only the size of their café can a bit be bigger with more seats available would be better though.

Price at Provence is a few cents for your normal price bread at $1.20 but for good quality taste, this is definitely worth it. And for people who are dining in there is No GST, No Service Charge. Worth the money!

Food and beverages are served, little wet towels are provided all at no extra cost for dine-in customers. And they will gladly warm up your bread upon requests. The ones at the counters are all Japanese and they are very polite. Especially the one who helped me to warm up my Cinnamon Bun and served it to me. She asked me is the air-con too cold for me. How nice is that?! thumbs up!

In Hankook, for their duk milk, eggs, butter or preservatives are not used. Therefore it is healthy and suitable for vegetarians.
They have a box of samples and i tried
시 루 dduk which consists of red bean.
Unlike the red bean we tried, the taste of 'si ru dduk' isnt sweet.
The lady recommended me to try 바 람 dduk which is a crescent-shaped dumpling filled with red-bean paste and air, sealed in like a balloon.
Though 'ba rum dduk' like 'si ru dduk' consists red bean, the latter one taste better.

Overall the taste wasn't much to my liking even though i like korean food and unlike ladyironchef, i did not bought any back home.
Thumbs up for the service and for Mrs Kim to set up an authentic rice cake stalls!

Chocolate Fondant $2.80 per piece

Received a piece of Chocolate fondant from my friend and this is the first time i actually tried Beard Papa products.
Have always been wanting to try because of the aroma and the high comments heard from people who ate it, but if i were to buy it for myself, i will think twice because of the price.

Chocolate Fondant in Beard Papa description is "A single serving of chocolate cake made with the finest French chocolate "Valrhona". To full enjoy the delicious oozing chocolate center, be sure to warm it up before serving."
When i ate it, it was not warm and therefore there is no FULL delicious chocolate oozing out, BUT take note i put FULL which means that there are still chocolate oozing out.
Oh man! this cake is lip-smacking!! the cake is full of the french chocolate flavor!
This is definitely a must try piece at Beard Papa Sweets!

At $2.80 per piece for a big, rich in FINEST FRENCH chocolate, i think it is definitely worth the money!

--> To "bibim" is to "stir together" vegetable or meat toppings with boiled calrose rice ("bap"). There are innumberable varities of bibimbap but the most popular are perhaps those that use a dolsot or stone bowl.

In this case, the auntie chose to use a metal bowl instead of stone bowl which will affect the taste.
If Bibimbap are served in stone bowl or dolsot, the bap will tend to be more fragrant.
Gochujang chile paste given are not much too, thus the taste are not very strong.
Ingredients that auntie has put in her Bibimbap is those that can be easily found and instead of Brussels sprouts, she chose to put beansprouts.
Despite quite a lot of negative comments from me, the rating given is so high is because it's ADDICTIVE.
Simple but it's very nice. I'm serious, this dish is awesome and it gives a "homely" taste & feeling.

Kimchi Soup w rice w side dish $5.50

The taste that affects the kimchi soup is obviously kimchi and as i have mentioned, this stall is run by a Korean auntie, so what do you ppl think the taste of the kimchi will be like?

You know how in Korean dramas, those people will order “炸酱面” & slurp it out in big mouthfuls? Those scenes make me go crazy! They always manage to look like its SUPER NICE.
I was so excited to try out this dish & when the dish was served & tried, i was kind of disappointed.
It tastes normal, a bit watery but despite so, i still like it.
It defers for everyone, but for me, i think Korean dishes are seriously very addictive.

Stir Fry Rice Cake $5.50

Another dish that is frequently featured in Korean dramas.
Kimchi, meat, rice cake, carrots, onions all taste yummy-licious! The sauce & the rice cake are the ones that affect the overall taste the most and in this case, the rice cake is chewy enough, not too tough not too soft, just nice. The sauce is spicy to give you the kick.

The prawns and sotong insides are fresh enough.
Seafood pancake is what Koreans love to eat and what makes up a good pancake?
Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
Yes in this case, the pancake is cooked to a perfection. The outside is a bit charred which makes it crispy and the inside is chewy, soft, overflowing with the abundance of ingredients.

It's pretty small and so if you go during lunch time hours, be prepared to stand & wait for seats.
Good thing? since it's situated in a shopping mall, there's air con! So for people who sweat while having their meals, don't worry! =)

The chinese auntie who serves the dishes will chat with you if you take the initiative to talk to her. The Korean auntie who cooks are friendly too! As h'm learning my Korean language, i chatted with the auntie, a bit kind of like chicken & duck?
But overall, i enjoyed myself be it food or with the service.

The dishes are that are spicy has the kick factor, so people who likes spicy dishes, be sure to try out their kimchi soup & their rice cake.
For me, i will definitely be back to try the rest of the dishes =)

Rum & raisin ice cream on oreo crust, toppings of raisins and almond toppings and butterscotch syrup & poured over with butterscoth syrup
This mudpie is simply good and very alcoholic! As you spoon the silken ice ice cream into your mouth, the taste blows your mind away!
Not recommended for people that don't take alcohols, this mudpie here has a strong alcoholic taste!

All was pretty normal but the softshell crab is the most OUTstanding.
The smell is horrifying.
As a softshell crab lover, i am pretty sure this isn't how a Fresh softshell crab should taste like. After checking with the supervisor on duty that day, i am convinced that the crab is fresh as he did show me and even explained to me how the crab is prepared.
and so the question remains, why is there a fishy smell?

EXCELLENT service! visited ice3 around 11.30pm and there were only 3 person on duty - Suresh(supervisor), forgot the other 2 girls name.
Suresh & 1 of the girls were in-charge of the kitchen, cooking and leaving 1 girl on the floor. Despite so, the service was good!
Suresh being very busy in the kitchen recommended me dishes to try and because of the softshell crab, he waived it off my bill.
They were attentive and even with a picky customer like me, they still remained patient and smiled warmly at me.
GOOD JOB!

OVERALL,
i will definitely be back for more DESSERTS! main course in my opinion are not to be tried there.

The phad thai is okay okay only.Parents & i agreed that it is kind of saltish and when all the dishes arrived, this dish was kind of cold.

The Green curry chicken here is very popular.
After me was another auntie who wanted to order 2 but they are only left with the last one.
The taste is great! Not recommended for ppl who dont really like coconut taste though as thai curry is supposed to be strong in that taste.
It says green curry Chicken but i suspect there are other meats inside.
there are 2 diff kinds of meat found, 1 purely meat another more like bones.
or maybe is chicken but diff parts? -.-
ANYWAY, doesn't matter!
the meat is GoOD!!! like really good!
the meat is tender and moist with the curry fragrance inside.
the bones when suck is flowing out with all the curry!

The uncle told me that he has 30 plus experience in this line. No wonder the noodles taste so yummy!
The noodles were of excellent texture and very QQ!Probably because after cooking, the noodles was immediately put under running water.
Uncle put a generous spread of black sauce for the noodles, the char siew & the veggies were in generous amount too!
The soup also caome with 3 wantons
Charsiew is roasted nicely, very 香 & crispy,
The big portion of veggies when eaten together wif the noodles make the taste not too overwhelming, somehow neutralise the overall taste.
Overall, nice. can try. Definitely something different from the noodles you eat outside.

The chef recommended Aglio Olio w Bacon & Mushroom and so my friends and i had that.
There is generous amount of garlic, mushrooms & bacons. Was abit oily but since it's olive oil, i supposed it is okay.
The pasta is superb, yummy-licious, excellent. Definitely better than the pasta at Pasta Planet.
Will be back to try out the rest that other people suggested!

Tried this stall again because of the very high review.
Reached around 6 plus on a Monday night,
There wasn't queue (because everyone sitting down wad),
Anyway it looks like they are very busy so i just ordered the smallest portion and went in search for other stalls.
The food was served in less than 15 minutes and the auntie said
"你们很lucky啊.别人order可是还没有来所以给你们先"
at that point of time i did not pay heed to what she was saying till now after reading the reviews,
i realized how blessed my friend and i were! Praise Lord!!
The actual waiting time is supposed to be around 45 minutes!

Overall it taste pretty normal to me.
Clementi used to have 1 stall selling claypot rice which i think is the nicest among all those i have tried but its closed down!

i saw the very high review and so this stall was on my MUST TRY list and in fact i was so excited to try..
BUT
when after ordering, settled down and had my first bite, i was kind of disappointed.
The chilli which is a special mix was not spicy enough! Isn't it call Chili Mee meaning it should be like really hot and spicy?
And so i went to ask for more chili and oh my the chili taste nice on its own!
p/s i am not someone who is good at eating spicy food.

Overall it taste like normal noodles to me,
not those that will go WOWWW!
but do ask for an extra plate of chili!

The Bruschetta were surprisingly nice. Mushroom & tomato were a good combi with the crispy bread. Cheap too! $2 for Tomato Brus.
2. Pasta Marinara $6.50
The House Special Pasta Marinara was.. .. ..very watery..
Couldn't really taste the tomato sauce HOWEVER the vongoles inside are in abundance & fresh too. That did make up the flaw.
3. Penne Carbonara $5
Penne Carbonara was dry and the carbonara taste was lacking. Parmesan cheese is actually required to have the cheesy taste.

My friends and i had the set for indivdual comes with chocolate fondue, assortment of fruits (strawberries, grapes, honeydew, bananas), mashmellow, waffles and a scoop of ice cream.
The Belgian waffles were good! Sweet enough, crispy enough, addictive!
Even one of my friends who doesn't eat waffles agree and actually ate!
The fruits were plentiful too. Honeydew however doesn't seems to go along well with the chocolate.
Their ice cream flavors selection though only have 6 but it is enough to let you start scratching your hair.
The hazelnut, green tea, cheesecake, bananas all seemed very yummy.
In the end i picked banana flavor because their banana is make specially using real bananas flesh.
how was the taste? SUPERB!!!!

this experience at Trapizza has been quite some time ago and so i cant really remember what pasta & pizza have been ordered.
i couldn't really remember the pasta taste but it was good.
The pizza left a deep impression though. Being the traditional Italian type, it was a flatbread one, cooked in a wood fired oven. It was good! The ingredients - cheese, ham, pineapples were generous. Ingredients together with the crust is great!!

What can i say?
